Opening and closing times

Weekdays: the Church is opened from 7,30 to 12 am and from 3,30 to 7pm

Feastdays: The Church is opened from 9am to 7,30 pm.

VISITING HOURS

On weekdays: from 8.30 to 12 o'clock and from 3.30 to 6 pm.
On feastdays: from 1 to 6 pm
(No visits allowed during the morning celebrations).

The Holy Shroud

Explanation of the Shroud

Inside the church, near the sacristy, a true copy of the original Shroud is on display.
 
Volunteers perform the explanation service free of charge:
 
Monday - Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 noon; 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
 
Sundays and religious holidays: 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friends of San Lorenzo Church Association

From the concrete experience of volunteering particularly developed on the occasion of the Holy Shroud ostensions from 1998 to 2015, a stable group of lay people has gradually formed and the proposal to create a volunteer association with the aim of protecting, enhancing and promoting the historical, artistic and architectural heritage of the Royal Church of San Lorenzo was born. The main purpose of the Association is to welcome visitors and help them to discover the historical and artistic contents of the Royal Church, one of Guarini masterpieces.

San Lorenzo Cultural center

The Cultural Center aims to promote the progress and diffusion of culture and training in the theological-spiritual and pastoral fields, through the organization of conferences, meetings, seminars, conventions, study and refresher courses, planning and implementation of researches, publications, cultural exchanges, and everything that can support such a promotion.
